Personal Dedication

This book is dedicated to my parents, Robert and Julia Allen, for the hard work, unwavering dedication, and deep love they instilled in me and my nine siblings: my brothers Robert Jr., Eugene, Donell, Eddie Lee, Maurice, Alfred, Frank, John and my only sister Benita. Your sacrifices, values, and faith laid a foundation that continues to carry us forward.

To my children - Julius, Robin, India, Steven (Ray), Mia, Emmanuel, and Christian (CJ) - you are my heart, my motivation, and my greatest joy. And to my granddaughters Juliyah, E'Myah, Sa'Renitee and Khamia.

To my best friend of over forty years, Steven Robertson Sr. - thank you for standing with me through every season. For speaking strength when I felt weak, for reminding me of who I am when life tried to define me otherwise, and for encouraging me during my lowest moments that circumstances were never meant to break me. Your constant presence, honesty, and encouragement were instrumental in inspiring this book.

And to everyone carrying major struggles - those fighting battles seen and unseen, those rebuilding from broken pieces, and those learning how to stand again - This work is for you.

You were never built to break.
